Just back from an incredible trip to Sariska for the weekend with a group of 10. From start to finish everything was taken into consideration, our transport needs, dietary requests and fun packed activities. What a fabulous glamping experience, Serene Journeys had thought of everything, one such activity entailed a walk which ended with a sunset tea party at the top of the climb, so memorable. Our trip also included a sunrise safari and bird watching expedition. Robindro went out of his way to accommodate our every request and I cannot recommend Serene Journeys enough. A fabulously perfect trip!
The attention to detail that Robindro took for our entire 21 day trip was amazing. From the flights , the seating assignments , drivers, guides and especially his choices on hotels. Serene Journeys arranged a superb trip to Kolkata, Sanderbunds, Sikkim, Darjeeling and Varanasi for myself and a small group of friends. Our guides, transportation and accommodation were all first class and the whole journey was seamless from the moment we arrived till our flights home. Robin took care of most of our arrangements for our trip to India in 2015, and it couldn’t have been better! Nearly all airport pickups, transfers, and tours went off without a hitch – there was one small glitch with our arrival, where the driver meeting us at the Mumbai airport thought we were arriving around 3:00 PM instead of 3:00 AM. It wasn’t Robin’s fault, and he helped us out in the middle of the night when I had no option but to call him in Delhi and wake him up. He joined us in Varanasi, and was a pleasure to spend time with there. We booked most of our own hotels, since I had lots of frequent guest points to spend, but took care of our arrangements in Varanasi at the Taj Nadesar Palace, which is among the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. Our guides were great, especially Mala in Mumbai. The itinerary, which included Mumbai, Varanasi, Agra, Jaipur, and Delhi, gave us a great introduction to several different parts of India, and immersed us in a culture we’ll never forget. I’ve since recommended his services to friends back in the US who were looking for help in planning a trip to India, and they’ve all been very pleased with his services as well.
Very professional with exceptional service. From meeting us inside the Delhi airport terminal thus avoiding the crowd outside, the personal touch left no aspect of our tour unattended. A highlight was visiting the Taj Mahal at dawn accompanied by a knowledgeable engaging guide….memories to last a lifetime. From the moment I landed at the airport in Bangkok to the time I departed, I was in good hands with Serene Journeys. I received a proposed itinerary to modify or approve. Not only did the plan look great on paper, but it exceeded my expectations.
My time in Bangkok was filled with sightseeing, cultural experiences, dining and more. I was able to take in so much of what the city had to offer due to Serene Journeys’ efficient planning. Mark is very knowledgable about the history of the city and daily living there. By the time I left Bangkok, I experienced every mode of transportation possible; I experienced Thai dining at its finest as well as the ever popular street market food; I toured temples and palaces; participated in a Thai cooking class, and experienced the infamous Thai foot massage!
Thanks to Serene Journey and their expertise guidance, I left Bangkok very pleased and satisfied with the city experience.
I truly enjoyed my adventure and look forward to booking future travel plans with them throughout Asia.
A friend and I spent almost 3 weeks in northern India, and I was very impressed with the excellent value of the trip. Everything went completely smoothly, and we got to see everything we had hoped to, and more. I will definitely return to India (the south!) and use Serene Journeys again. The hotels were marvelous, and the guides and drivers made the trip all the more enjoyable. At times I felt pressured to buy items, but now that I am home, I have no regrets about my purchases! India is a magical place, permeated with spirituality and vibrant colors.
